ShowLoud ("we," "our," or "us") operates the ShowLoud platform, including ShowLoud Kids. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.
We collect information you provide directly, such as your display name, profile details, and uploaded content. We also collect usage data such as interactions with performances (votes, boosts) and general analytics to improve the platform.
Authentication is handled through a third-party provider (Clerk). We do not store passwords directly. Your email address is used for account management and, for parents, to manage content approvals for linked child accounts.
ShowLoud is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not currently offer accounts for users under 13. A kids-safe experience is planned for a future release. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. Video content is stored using industry-standard cloud infrastructure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Parents and guardians may review, modify, or request deletion of their child's data at any time. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the platform or via email.
